Financial Goals

The Torch remains a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit, community-funded organization. The support from ultimate players, player organizations, and corporate sponsors all over Texas keeps our fire burning, year after year. This team exists because of the community buy-in—both emotional and social as much as financial.

The Torch covers all player costs: game salary, equipment, field space, insurance, travel, uniforms, and more, while its leadership team are all volunteers. In order to meet these priorities, the Torch has not only initiated multilevel corporate sponsorship deals, but have also organized multiple fundraisers and pursued grant funding to lessen the burden on the community. However, the Torch is truly a community-driven entity and relies on you to support opportunities for women, non-binary, and gender non-conforming athletes in professional sports.
