Austin Torch Grand Masters Tournament Fundraiser

The third annual Grand Masters tournament is happening January 24, 2026 as a fundraiser for the Austin Torch! Players must be 35+ for female matching players; 40+ for male matching players.

This year we are capping registrations at 80 players! We’ll have four teams with a maximum of 20 each.

The 2025 Tournament helped raise over $4,825 for the Torch’s operating budget in 2025!

 

When: Saturday January 24, 2026 / 11am - 5:00pm

Where: Huns Rugby Club (4107 Nixon Ln, Austin, TX)

Cost: $45 registration (option to add donations TO TORCH!).

Features + Goals:

  • Single-Day, mixed-gender, hat-style tournament

  • Age limits: 40+ male matching players / 35+ Female matching players

  • Our goal is to have 4 teams of approx. 17-20 players each, capped at 80 total players.

  • 3-4 games guaranteed per team

  • Register with up to 3 other players (limit 4-person pods)

  • TUSC365 Elementary-Age Pickup and Games option for people who want or need to bring kids age 5 - 15 (aka, “Frisbee Babysitting” on a separate field and playscape)

  • 2 Torch players / team acting as Managers / Spirit Captains

  • Torch goodies, merchandise, fun prizes and more!

  • All proceeds benefit the Austin Torch’s 2026 operating budget (a 501(c)3 non-profit organization).
